Arielle Lipset, LMSW

Arielle Lipset, LMSW, is a licensed therapist who specializes in the treatment of adults and teens struggling to overcome eating disorders, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and complex PTSD. Arielle is a neurodiversity affirming therapist, and incorporates neuroaffirming practices within her clinical work.
In her clinical work, Arielle utilizes a variety of evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family-Based Therapy (FBT). Arielle works alongside individuals and families with a radically genuine and thoughtful approach. She understands the nature and complexity of mental health concerns and practices with compassion and without judgement. She aims to create a space for individuals to feel understood, heard, and comfortable to explore themselves and their emotions, relationships, and patterns.
Arielle obtained her Masters in Social Work from NYU Silver School of Social Work. She previously worked as a school based social worker at New Design, and treated eating disorders at Aurora Center in both individual and group settings.
Arielle appreciates the unique relationship between therapist and client and knows that it requires chemistry, commitment, and trust. She works to ensure that each client feels personally considered and accepted throughout their time together, and in their achievement of therapy related goals.
