Ginger is a dedicated clinician at Therapy in the City, who supports adults, young adults, and adolescents struggling with an array of mental health challenges. Ginger specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, OCD, and anxiety, and supports clients with relationship challenges, trauma, and mood disorders as well.

Ginger has advanced training in various evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She draws from these treatment models throughout her clinical work to support her clients in skillfully coping with life’s stressors, building resilience, and healing.

Prior to joining Therapy in the City, Ginger served as a lead program therapist at Eating Disorder Recovery Specialists, a residential and intensive outpatient treatment setting, where she worked with individuals with eating disorders and various co-occurring disorders in one-on-one and group settings. Ginger also worked as a program director at The Friendship Circle, where she facilitated groups for mothers and families, and ran programming for individuals with social anxiety. Ginger obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University.

Ginger brings warmth, compassion, and an authentic style to treatment, and strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can wholly achieve their life and therapy related goals. Above all, she is passionate about empowering her clients to make meaningful and lasting changes to their lives.
