Lucia Santilli, BA
Clinical Fellow  

Lucia (Lucy) Santilli is a clinical fellow in Therapy in the City’s Manhattan office, treating adults, young adults, and children struggling with an array of mental health challenges. 

 

Lucia, a warm and empathic therapist, supports clients struggling with an array of diverse challenges including eating disorders, OCD, panic, depression, and major life transitions. She understands the complexities and nuances of navigating mental health concerns, and does so with non-judgment, compassion, and support.

 

Lucia takes an individualized approach to treatment, and uses evidence-based and integrative modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while also creating space for insight oriented work. 

 

Prior to her fellowship at Therapy in the City, Lucia obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology, and worked as a crisis responder at a non-profit mental health program in Toronto, Canada. In this role, Lucia offered support to individuals navigating the challenges of trauma, depression, suicidal ideation, interpersonal relationships, and romantic abuse. Lucia has a profound commitment to the field of mental health, and is currently completing her masters program at New York University, specializing in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness. 


At the core of Lucia's practice lies a belief in the inherent strength and potential of each client. She is dedicated to fostering growth, resilience, and independence, and providing each client she works with both a safe environment, and tangible skills for change. It is her mission to help each and every client meet their therapy related goals, unlock their potential, and thrive.
