Our services & Specializations:

Therapy In The City offers an array of therapy services including standard individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, and intensive outpatient services.

Individual Therapy

Weekly sessions for adults, adolescents and children. Goal-oriented and structured, with a clear sense of what you’re working toward and how you’ll know it’s working.

Couples & Family Therapy

Support across dating, marriage, long-term partnership, separation and divorce — including communication, trust, intimacy and decision-making.

Intensive Outpatient Therapy

A structured, immersive program for adults, adolescents and children who need more than weekly therapy. Individually designed rather than one-size-fits-all.

Group Therapy

DBT and OCD groups, in person and virtual. Ninety-minute weekly sessions. DBT groups move sequentially through mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.

Evidence-based, and specific about it

Every clinician on our team has advanced training in established, well-researched treatment modalities. That means your care follows a method with a track record, not whatever the therapist happens to prefer.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT and Exposure Therapy to help reduce anxiety and depression. For those who need help creating change, now.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Combining insight and deeply practical skills for managing intense emotions, tolerating distress and strengthening relationships.

Trauma-Based Therapies

An integrative approach using trauma informed care including somatic work, DBT PE and TF CBT

Couples and Family Therapy

Through guidance, insight, communication, and conflict resolution, we help couples and families navigate challenges with greater empathy, clarity, and connection.

If you’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t feel like the right fit, a more intentional and personalized approach can make all the difference.

Common questions

Do you take insurance?

We are an out-of-network practice and we provide superbills to support our clients in getting reimbursed from their insurance providers.

What does a session cost?

Our rates range between $175-$475 depending on the service, provider, and session length. We recognize that finances can be a great barrier to receiving care, therefore our clinicians offer sliding scale fees ($80-$150) for those with financial need. We also provide superbills that can be submitted to insurance companies for out-of-network reimbursements.

Are your clinicians licensed in California?

Yes. Our California team is licensed in the state and can see you in person in Beverly Hills or virtually anywhere in California.

Can I do some sessions in person and some virtually?

Yes, many clients opt for a hybrid therapy style, doing some sessions in person and some remotely, particularly those traveling in from elsewhere in LA.

Do you work with children and teenagers?

Yes. Several clinicians specialize in working with adolescents and children.

How quickly can I be seen?

We respond to all inquiries within 24 business hours and can typically schedule your intake within the same business week (2 4 days).
